Project Manager - Architect (m/w/d)

Professional and disciplinary leadership of the project team, ensuring compliance with dates and budget requirements and quality-oriented implementation of the construction projects. Conception, planning and management of the projects from the first design to the completion in order to guarantee smooth implementation. Creation and control of plans, cost proposals, contracts and coordination of construction services in accordance with the construction regulations. Close coordination and cooperation with customers, specialist planners, exporting companies and authorities during the project phases. Examination and evaluation of offers, negotiation with subcontractors and continuous cost control throughout the entire project process. Monitoring the construction design on site and ensuring compliance with all quality, safety and environmental requirements throughout the entire project. Optimization of project processes, initiation and implementation of measures to improve efficiency and project durations. Creation of project reports and presentations of project results to customers and management, and participation in regular team and project meetings. Risk management and development of risk mitigation plans and active risk control to avoid unforeseeable situations. Continuous training to familiarise yourself with the emerging technologies.

Complete study of architecture (Bachelor or Master) and several years of experience in the project management in the building industry, as well as interdisciplinary know-how. Excellent knowledge of the relevant building regulations and standards (construction regulations, HOAI etc.) and familiar handling of project management methods. Found experience in the planning, tendering and monitoring of construction projects and a comprehensive understanding of technical building equipment. Secure appearance, self-initiative, organizational strength and an efficient way of working distinguish you and shape your ability to handle projects smoothly. Team skills and communication skills in cooperation with internal and external partners (customers, planners, etc.) to create a positive working environment. Professional application of MS Office applications as well as BIM software and a structured, detailed way of working for accurate documentation. A driving licence of Class B to facilitate the inspection of construction sites in Berlin and surrounding areas is necessary and desired. Analytical skills to effectively solve problems, predictive thinking to counter potential risks, as well as creative thinking and problem-solving ability. Negotiating German knowledge in word and writing is essential for productive cooperation. Flexibility to meet new challenges, and responsibility awareness, self-employment and self-motivation to successfully shape the course of the project.
