Master Craftsman / Technician as Team Leader Maintenance - Kobern-Gondorf near Koblenz / Mainz / Bonn

For our location in Kobern-Gondorf we are looking for a master, technician (e.g. electric master, industrial master metal, state-tested technician) or comparable specialists as team leader:in maintenance (internal name: Sr. RME Technician). If you move for the job and your home address is at least 80 km from the location, we will support you with a moving bonus of $6.045. As Sr. RME Technician, you help us stay one step ahead of development. You use the latest technologies and identify new, efficient working methods. In this role, you look closely at our processes and help us follow and further increase our highest safety standards. - Best practice and support in operating devices and systems with the highest safety standards

• Tracking of equipment performance by visual testing, maintenance-oriented monitoring and preventive maintenance and planning of additional maintenance as required
• Responsibility for the technical team during its shift and its support and further development
• Solution of systems problems to reduce operating downtime and enable the fastest possible handling of packages
• Support in the continuous improvement of systems and standardisation of processes across the EU network A day in the life You enter a maintenance team within a layer and make sure that all employees have the necessary tools available and work properly. This involves monitoring processes so that regulations and guidelines are followed, as well as ensuring the implementation of preventive maintenance measures to maximize the operating time of our plants. Through your observations during shiftwork, you make suggestions for improvement to make our systems even more efficient and productive and implement these improvements across the EU. In addition, you use tools such as SCADA to monitor processes to ensure their performance, and support administrative tasks in close cooperation with your executives. You work locally in one of our logistics centers. You work in shift models that can include nights and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Complete technical training recognised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts (HWK). In addition, a completed qualification as an industrial master, state-tested technician or craftsman, or comparable professional experience. Alternatively, proof of a successfully completed university degree in the field of engineering sciences (machine engineering / mechatronics / electrical engineering or art related) of a German university or recognized foreign university degrees (BA, B. Sc., MA, M. Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
• Experience in the automation and maintenance of conveyor systems
• Advanced German language skills in word and writing and basic language skills in English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Practical experience in the professional leadership of a team
• Experience in the care of foreign companies
