Measurement Technician for Opto-Mechanical Components (m/w/d)

To strengthen our development site in Jena, we are looking for an unlimited period of time and full-time (36h/week):

As part of the Verification Team, you will take over tasks within the product development process of complex optoelectronic modules and transfer to production. Working in the industrialization of innovative optoelectronic modules from prototype to pre-series Testing of optical/mechanical components according to test plan and drawing by means of hand measuring means, coordinate measuring device, spectroscopy, interferometer, microscope, etc. Implementation of cleanliness tests Visual components test and visual evaluation of functional surfaces Analysis of the orders received for the need planning of measurement tasks and coordination of tasks in the team Incoming goods checks and related bookings in the ERP system (ident check, quantity, delivery condition) Documentation and communication of test results Working with supplier complaint and solution finding in case of quality problems

Successfully completed 3-year vocational training in the fields of fine optics, precision mechanics, physics laboratory, optics, measuring technology, or a related technical/technical training desirable Practical experience in the testing of optical and/or mechanical components (e.g. with 3D measurement technology, spectroscopy, profile/centering measurements or interferometry) Basic knowledge of the MS Office package Joy in team work, but also in independent work Basic knowledge of English
