Our Business Unit Optical Systems develop optical 3D measurement systems with high-speed technology. As a development engineer (m/w/x), you are responsible for building and commissioning prototypes. You work in the development of mechanics and mechatronics of industrial measuring systems and focus on the construction and commissioning of prototypes as well as on structured experimental planning and implementation

You are responsible for the organization, design and practical implementation of prototype assembly and assembly processes throughout the entire product development process

You analyze technical problems and develop solutions with engineering tools such as CAD

the holistic organization of test halls and laboratories is in your task

you support the series transfer of prototypes by providing assembly concepts close to the standard and their documentation in the form of assembly instructions and lists

for your colleagues you are contact person for hardware-related problems

You are part of an interdisciplinary development team, get deep insights into other areas of expertise and have a significant impact on the quality and success of new products

completed technical/nature studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable

extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of technical mechanics, kinematics, transmission/drive technology, construction, machine elements and assembly processes

Experiences in machine assembly: assembly processes (prototypes and/or small series), assembly instructions, piece lists

pronounced craftsmanship and practical skills, e.g.: previous technical training, experience in the care of experimental areas, laboratories etc.

Basic knowledge of CAD design

knowledge in electrical engineering, control technology/programming
