In this position, you take over the design and cross-system coordination of the machine room device. You ensure that technical systems, supply structures and structural conditions are optimally matched to each other, both functional, maintenance-friendly and production-oriented. Your tasks at a glance: The design and design of the machine room device as well as adjacent areas is your responsibility. Make sure that all components are functionally and optimally integrated in the system. Against the background of operational, assembly and maintenance requirements, you integrate devices, drive systems and supply systems and keep in mind the overall functionality of the room. In the 3D CAD model you take over the system coordination and are responsible for the spatial arrangement of pipelines of drive technology, supply and disposal systems, cableways and air conditioning and ventilation channels. From the digital model, you run building documents, create technical documentation and maintain the associated piece lists throughout the entire project. You actively ensure the flow of information between adjacent coordinators and system managers (m/w/d) by coordinating and structuring coordination within the departments as well as with the field of equipment, shipbuilding and manufacturing.

Complete studies in mechanical engineering, in ship operations engineering, in plant engineering or a comparable field with multi-year professional experience Alternatively, a completed technician training with sound practical experience in the described task field Multiannual experience in the design and system integration of complex technical systems, ideally in the maritime environment Safe handling of 3D CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX), product lifecycle management systems (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter) as well as common MS Office applications Funded understanding of manufacturing, functional and cost-conscious design Communication security in German and English for cross-site and cross-border votes Creativity and solution orientation as well as interest in participation in the continuous improvement process Structured, independent working, team spirit and strong coordination capability readiness for occasional journeys within Germany (about 5%)
