Cloud Native Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Replace data pipelines: You design and implement robust data pipelines, data ingest and data processing based on open source components such as Apache Airflow, Kafka, Spark or Trino and ensure that data flow reliably, performantly and comprehensible. Developing analytics platforms: You develop container-based analytics platforms and develop efficient CI/CD pipelines based on Kubernetes so that new features and changes can be produced safely and automatically. Provide & automate platforms: You are responsible for the automated deployment of the analytics platforms - e.g. with helmet charts and tools like ArgoCD - and make sure that deployments are reproducible and stable. Run and secure platforms: You integrate data platforms into existing customer landscapes, including IAM, monitoring and logging, and thus actively contribute to the stability, security and transparency of the solutions. Translating business requirements into data products: Together with our customers, you understand technical requirements and implement them with open-source analytics services based on Kubernetes - with the aim of completely accompanying our customers on their way to data sovereignty. Learn & share knowledge: You keep your knowledge up-to-date in the cloud, data and software engineering environment, try new technologies and share your experience in the team and the customer - e.g. in projects, communities or internal formats.

Education & experience: You bring a completed study (or a comparable qualification) and have already worked practically with components such as Spark, Kafka, Airflow or Ä. - ideally in production-related projects. Kubernetes know-how: You have practical experience in handling Kubernetes (e.g. deployment/service definitions, handling of Secrets, Helm-Charts) and have fun building containerized applications and platforms. Knowledge of software development: You have solid programming knowledge in Java, Scala or Python and have already worked with build and CI/CD tools like Maven, sbt, Gradle, Git or similar tools. Understanding cloud and infrastructure concepts: concepts such as IaaS, PaaS and SaaS can be arranged, and you have first experiences with infrastructure-as-code approaches (e.g. terraform, ansible or puppet) to build infrastructure reproducible and versionable. Passion for data & modern platforms: You have the pleasure of understanding complex data landscapes, trying out new technologies in the data and analytics environment and finally shaping solutions. Language skills: Your very good knowledge of German and good English allows you to communicate safely.
