System Engineer / IT Consultant – Network (m/f/d)

Qualified advice and need analysis for our customers: You meet complex requirements, develop strategic solutions and accompany customers in technical decisions at eye level. Design, architecture and configuration of challenging network infrastructures: You create sophisticated network and security concepts and implement them independently in enterprise environments. Planning, control and implementation of network migration: You take over the technical responsibility for migration projects, work closely with the sales team and ensure a smooth transition to productive operations through professional preparation and implementation. Integration of new systems into existing, often heterogeneous network landscapes: You take into account dependencies, safety requirements and performance requirements and ensure sustainable operational stability. Full project responsibility from A to Z: From the request to the technical implementation, to the handover and documentation, you design projects independently and structured. Long-term support and further development of our existing customers: You are also a professional Sparring partner after the project has been completed and accompany optimizations, extensions and modernizations. Preparation and implementation of proof-of-concepts (PoCs), workshops and presentations: You impart expertise, moderate decision-making processes and present new solutions in practice. Technical support of our sales staff: You bring your expertise to tender, offer processes and customer presentations and thus actively contribute to success.

Complete IT-oriented training or relevant studies (e.g. computer science, business informatics, network or system engineering). Dedicated IT professionals with many years of practical experience in the network environment are also welcome. Multiannual professional experience in planning, design, implementation and operation of complex network infrastructures. Funded expertise with the leading manufacturer Cisco – including certificate-based knowledge (e.g. CCNP o.A.) or detectable project success in the enterprise environment. Very deep knowledge in campus, core and/or datacenter networks, in particular in:network architectures and design Routing and Switching Wi-Fi planning and optimization High availability and redundancy concepts

The practical experience in network virtualization and network automation, for example using SDN technologies, infrastructure as code or automation frameworks such as Ansible, is desirable. Safe handling of modern security and access concepts (e.g. NAC solutions, zero-trust architectures, segmentation concepts). Representative consulting and customer competence: You can explain complex technical relationships in a comprehensible way, accept requirements, develop solutions and accompany decisions argumentatively. High service orientation, independent working and team strength – you act confidently in enterprise customer environments and take responsibility. Very good German knowledge (min. C1) and good English knowledge (min. B2) in word and writing. General readiness to travel within Germany.
