The Städtische Klinikum Karlsruhe is the largest hospital in the Middle Rhine region. Day by day and around the clock, more than 4,500 qualified employees ensure patient care. For the Central OP we are looking for an assistant*in (OTA) (m/w/d) for the Central OP.

For our new Central OP unit with the specialist departments Viszeral, Vascular, Accident, Neurosurgery, Urology, HNO, MKG and the Ambulant OP-Zentrum in state-of-the-art rooms, we are looking for health and nursing assistants or surgical assistants to strengthen the team at the next possible time. As a house of maximum care, you have the opportunity to work in different areas of expertise and to continuously expand competence. Your tasks include pre- and post-processing of the surgery room, pre-operative preparation of the patient, instrumentation and jumper activities, intra-operative organisation and OP documentation. You can order the materials required for the operation electronically in the case-car warehouse. They work in a motivated team, with participation in the call and standby service. They are trained health and nursing specialists, possibly also with specialist training or surgical assistant. They are motivated to learn new things, are busy, show their own initiative and flexibility, like working constructively in the interprofessional team and are characterized by responsible action.
