We make industrial equipment communicate! HMS connects hardware with software to enable industrial devices to be networked, allowing our customers to work more productively and sustainably. As Team Lead Final Assembly (f/m/d), you'll lead our Final Assembly team of 7 Electronic Technicians in Darmstadt — and play a key role in our efficient and high quality products. The role combines shaping and improving with a genuine hands-on approach: you enjoy leading people, improving processes, and stepping onto the shopfloor as a Supervisor to support your team when needed.

As Team Lead, you lead the daily operations of our Final Assembly team of 7 Electronic Technicians, safe, efficient and reliable production performance. Drive a smooth end-to-end flow — from material availability through production to delivery to our Central Logistics Center. Take ownership of quality performance, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to solve problems and prevent risks early. As Supervisor, manage team resources, production capacity and departmental budget to meet operational targets. Lead continuous improvement and Lean initiatives to increase productivity, improved quality and reduce costs. Contribute to local projects and global supply chain initiatives that strengthen operational excellence across the organization.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree — or a comparable qualification — in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in a manufacturing and/or supply chain environment, ideally within manufacturing electronics. A genuine motivation to take on responsibility for a team: initial leadership experience is a plus, but not a must. A good understanding of processes including planning, materials management, production, logistics and quality. A hands-on leadership mindset: you motivate your team, set priorities and solve problems pragmatically right on the shopfloor. Experience with operational quality processes, supplier quality or RMA management is a plus. Fluent German is a must; good English skills round off your profile. .
