Category Manager Services (m/w/d)

In your role, you are entirely responsible for your product groups to ensure the complete supply of the Currenta with all the materials and services you need, in compliance with the product group strategies defined by you.

Your tasks Strategy development & implementation: You analyze markets and suppliers, develop product group and supplier strategies and consistently implement them

Demand Management: You create transparency through systematic procurement planning and accompany specialist areas in specification creation – with a view to strategic purchasing levers

Stakeholder Management: You represent your product groups to internal stakeholders (e.g. finance, accounting, demand providers) and actively communicate about market and procurement trends

Guided tour & control: You take over the specialist management of Sourcing managers and operative buyers

Content & Channel Management: You increase process efficiency through smart buy-channel strategies and perform category analyses to use catalogs, contracts and marketplaces

Action management: You define and are responsible for specific measures to achieve goals in the areas of cost, compliance, quality, sustainability and security of supply

Suppliers & contract management: You actively tax the supplier portfolio of your product groups

Successfully completed technical or economic studies

At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in purchasing

Experience in the development and implementation of product group strategies

Category Management Knowledge in the categories Engineering Services, Project Management, PSA, HR Services and Security

English C1-C2

German in Word and Writing

MS-Office, purchase-relevant software (desirable), SAP (desirable)
