With Mercedes-Benz AG, the vehicle manufacturer is one of the largest providers of premium and luxury cars and vans. Our department (MO/SXB) is responsible for controlling the customer order process for the Bremen plant. In addition to planning the production program, we are responsible for the planning and control of the vehicles, the procurement of the material (disposition) and the dispatch of the finished vehicles. The Team Disposition (KON/JIT) plans and controls the procurement of randomly supplied components for the production process. In this context, we coordinate the part inflow from the supplier via our forwarding to our warehouses and from there on to production in the assembly and raw building halls. A logistics service provider commissioned by us, who then escalates our representatives with increased criticality for the supply security of production. These challenges include: Introduction and participation in general supplier management and MRP tasks Learn and participate in the entire day-to-day operation of the production plant and supplier control Communication with in- and external customers/suppliers Working in bottleneck management in supply-critical situations Cooperation in project management of specific logistics projects for JIS and NON-JIS parts (Just In Sequence) Preparation of analyses and evaluations as well as processing of data for visualization clarification of differences in cooperation with planning/operative areas, suppliers and service providers Creation of presentation documents for top management and tanging areas Cooperation with suppliers Developing optimization approaches for the further development of the methods in the supply chain The activity can begin from August 2026.
