As a specialist group manager for software development, you take the technical and disciplinary responsibility for your team and the technical implementation of our product requirements. You create clear structures, prioritize consistently and ensure that your team delivers reliable – with high quality, stable architecture and a clear focus on earnings and liabilities. Technical and disciplinary leadership and further development of the software development department in a direct line of reports to the development management

Responsibility and active participation of our agile workings (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) in the team and in cooperation with adjacent areas

Control of development and prioritization of the roadmap in close coordination with product management, focusing on clear priorities and feasible planning

Responsibility for establishing and complying with standards in terms of code quality, architecture compliance and sustainable software development

Close coordination with product managers to prioritize and implement technical requirements

Active control of dependencies, risks and conflicts in development

Promoting a powerful engineering culture with focus on cooperation, quality and continuous improvement

Experience in the professional and ideally also disciplinary leadership of development teams as well as in the acquisition of earnings responsibility

Multiannual practical experience in the development of .NET/C# as well as in the design and operation of modern cloud architectures (especially microservices and event-driven architectures)

Found experience with a hyperscaler, preferably AWS (alternative Azure), including development and operation of cloud applications.

Practical experience of automation with common development practices (Testing, CI/CD, Code Reviews)

Experience in working with agile methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and in cooperation with cross-functional teams, in particular with product owners and relevant stakeholders

Sovereign dealing with different stakeholders and the ability to communicate decisions clearly, transparently and comprehensiblely
