Senior Consultant (m/w/d) für Rhythmologie - Key Area In addition to invasive electrophysiology, a state-of-the-art functional area "Devices" is available in the rhythmology of the Clinic for Cardiology. Here, the entire spectrum of active cardiac rhythm and resynchronization implants including wireless pacemakers, physiological stimulation systems (e.g. His-/LBB stimulation) as well as subcutaneous defibrillators of all leading manufacturers are routinely implanted and disposed of. The department is certified according to the DGK guidelines and integrated into clinical research projects. A telemedicine centre is under construction. Device therapy: independent implantations and revision interventions, programming and care of pacemakers, defibrillators and CRT systems, as well as supervision of complex system changes and extractions. Quality Assurance & Innovation: Further development of device therapy in close coordination with the medical management, participation in bodies and project groups on the strategic development of the department. Training & Supervision: Specialized guidance and supervision of assistant physician:inside and participating in student teaching in the field of cardiology. Interdisciplinary cooperation: Close cooperation with adjacent disciplines, especially heart surgery, anaesthesia and care. Your profile Specialist Recognition: Recognition as a specialist:in for internal medicine and cardiology. Expertise: Extensive experience in active heart rhythm implants, including complex systems. Radiation protection: existing expertise in radiation protection including all necessary updates. Additional qualification: Special rhythmology - Active heart rhythm implants (DGK); can also be acquired during activity (full training authorization). Training: Experience in the guidance and supervision of young doctors. Science: Scientific interest in device therapy.
