Start-up engineer (m|w|d) Wasserkraft (Turbine/generator/Automation) Job ID 75682 I Location Heidenheim Your duties You take over the line and/or implementation of the installation in one or more of the following areas: hydropower turbines including auxiliary plants and control devices and/or synchronous and asynchronous generators/motors with rated voltages above 1KV including auxiliary operations, exciter device and protection technology and/or BoP-M (Balance of Plant) components such as cooling water systems, drainage systems, oil treatment plants and steel water construction and/or BoP-E components such as switching systems, block transformers, power plant own requirements including control and monitoring devices and/or Power plant control technology (Siemens, Rockwell) including communication and network systems and/or Digital turbine controller, vibration monitoring systems, data detection systems.

In addition, troubleshooting, optimization and reporting are one of your activities during commissioning. You are responsible for meeting dates and quality. You are responsible for the handover of trades and training of customer personnel. Finally, you will provide technical project and engineering support at the Heidenheim site. Your profile Depending on the area of responsibility, you will bring a completed study of mechanical engineering or mechatronics, electrical engineering or electrical and information technology, information technology. Alternatively, you have a training with further training as a technician with relevant professional experience. Professional experience in the installation of hydropower plants is advantageous. You have good knowledge of German and English, other foreign languages (Spanish, Portuguese, French) are of advantage. We require MS Office knowledge.
