Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Technical Real Estate Management (f/m/d) as part of a dual study program in cooperation with the Mainz University of Applied Sciences

The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks - Institution of Public Law - Koblenz Directorate, offers for the Koblenz site as of 1st. September 2026 a three-year training at: Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) Technical real estate management (w/m/d) as part of a dual study in cooperation with the University of Mainz. (KOOP BE 10/2026, Stellen‐ID 1356472) The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) – Institution of Public Law – is the central real estate company of the federal government. The main tasks are the uniform real estate management, the real estate management and the real estate sale as well as the forest and nature protection specialist care of the property properties. Around 7,000 employees work in Germany for the BImA, distributed to the headquarters - headquartered in Bonn - and nine directorates and more than 120 locations.

From September 2026: central introduction weeks of all dual students in the federal territory 4 years of dual study from October 2026 (scientific study company in Mainz next to the practical experience in our company) The following modules are part of the training at the university: Safety technology Building control or Building system technology Environmental technology Building Energy Technology / TGA Sanitary engineering Telecommunications and Communication Technology Maintenance Energy management Vocational training: During the practical phases, you will get to know our different services. The BImA maintains a task-specific real estate portfolio, including the federal police, customs or THW. You are primarily supervised by our operating managers and cooperate in the technical building management, which includes, among other things, the planning, commissioning and supervision of technical maintenance and repair work within our properties. In the field of energy management you will e.g. for energy and building optimisation concepts, as well as for inventory and plans to improve our properties. Our stated goal is to prepare students in theory and practice for the management of demanding projects as well as the analysis of technical issues from an economic point of view. Students can make an active contribution to the success of the company with their own projects, whose scope and ambition are increasing with increasing knowledge.

School degree: general or subject-bound university maturity, university degree (with as good a result as possible in mathematics and science) Interest in real estate Technology affinity is advantageous good understanding, careful functioning, good oral and written expression and pronounced social competence good IT skills (Microsoft Office and Internet) Ready to use at different locations in Rheinland-Pfalz and Hessen (in addition Koblenz and Frankfurt am Main also Landau, Trier and Kassel) and on business trips

You will receive a training allowance of € 1,550,00 and a special annual payment according to the applicable tariff regulations Our students start in September before the start of regular studies with a so-called “welcome phase”; the participants can take a look behind the scenes of the BImA During the four-year training, each student is intensively accompanied by the staff department and specialist supervisors Our students are also well supported in the production of project work as well as the Bachelor's thesis We prepare students for their future career through exciting and varied projects throughout the entire federal territory.
