The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) – Institution of Public Law – is the central real estate company of the federal government. The main tasks are the uniform real estate management, the real estate management and the real estate sale as well as the forest and nature protection specialist care of the property properties. Around 7,000 employees work in Germany for the BImA, distributed to the headquarters – headquartered in Bonn – and nine directorates as well as over 120 locations. Our Facility Management division builds, operates and manages a complex portfolio with exciting and versatile objects – from the ministries in Berlin and Bonn to federal courts and research institutions to the buildings of customs, federal police, Bundeswehr or the Bundesanstalt Technisches Hilfswerk (THW). In dialogue with our customers, we shape the way to climate-neutral real estate management.

Implementation of repairs as well as new installations on sanitary and heating systems as well as other small repairs on extensive industrial installations such as air conditioning, ventilation, hot water and water treatment plants General installation work, e.g. processing of deficiencies and change indications in the fields of water, heat and climate technology as well as renewable energy/environmental technology operating complex monitoring systems according to the principles of the operational safety regulation Care, operation and maintenance of water extraction plants (water plant) Instruction of third-party companies and control of the organisational and contractual implementation of maintenance work Implementation and support for tasks outside the company, e.g. green area care, as well as clearing and scattering services incl. readiness Regular control of the overall state of the objects to be supervised, including the detection of traffic safety, the detection of technical and structural defects

Qualification: Successfully completed training as a plant mechanic for sanitary, heating and climate engineering (w/m/d) or comparable qualification Competences: Insufficient and multi-year professional experience Knowledge of standard IT applications (Microsoft Office) Other: Teamability, organisational skills, reliability and sense of responsibility Performance and the ability to work independently, thoroughly and target-oriented even in case of increased work Required to conduct callfulness Participation in (tlw. multi-day) training and willingness to travel Driving licence class B/3 driving service car
