As a senior PLC programmer, you take responsibility for demanding automation solutions and accompany our projects from technical design to commissioning. In addition, you will bring your experience into the further development of our software standards, program structures and reusable solutions. Development and programming of PLC, HMI and machine-related software solutions, focusing on Siemens TIA Portal Analysis of specifications and customer specifications as well as development of project-specific software and automation concepts Implementation of machine functions, visualizations and drive solutions and integration of robot systems Definition and implementation of interfaces to MES, SCADA and control systems Technical support of the projects from project planning to software development to commissioning with the customer on site coordination of technical requirements and interfaces as well as selection of suitable automation components in cooperation with customers, suppliers and internal departments Development of software structures, standards and reusable software modules for PLC, HMI and robotics Technical support of the project teams in demanding issues in automation technology

Successfully completed studies of automation technology, electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in PLC programming and industrial automation Very good knowledge of the work with Siemens TIA Portal, especially STEP 7, WinCC Advanced/Unified, Startdrive and Sinamics Experience in the structured and modular development of automation software as well as a good understanding of software standards and reusability Knowledge of robotics and the programming of robot controls are desirable, ideally by KUKA Experience with industrial communication systems and interfaces (e.g. Profinet, OPC UA, TCP/IP, MQTT) Understanding MES, SCADA and control system connections Safe handling of specifications, specifications and technical specifications Worldwide readiness to travel to local customers in selected project phases
