The Stahl- und Leichtbau Experimentsanstalt focuses on the mechanical testing and corrosion testing of construction products in universal testing machines, corrosion testers and specially designed test structures. We offer an interesting and varied activity in close cooperation with the scientists active at the institute. You work in a dedicated team with versatile and changing tasks. Its area of responsibility comprises essentially the following activities: Planning and implementation of experimental studies and measurements Use of static and dynamic test machines Activities in metalworking and material testing Self-configuration and assembly of test equipment and samples using cranes and forklifts

You have: a completed vocational training in a metal occupation, in the field of material testing or comparable training or demonstrable knowledge at a corresponding level Dealing with the Windows PC operating system and knowledge in Microsoft Office Driving licence B Secure knowledge of German in word and writing Teamability, reliability and careful working Required qualifications would be: Professional experience in development, research or material testing facilities – ideally at least three years Practical knowledge in the fields: metal processing, welding, material testing, measurement and control technology Forklift driving licence, driving licence C1E Crane guide and hitch Ideally experience in the field of destructive testing and in handling static and dynamic testing machines
