As an authority for urban development and housing (BSW), we take care of the urban development and housing policy of our wonderful city. The overarching goal is to preserve and develop Hamburg as a lively city. Come on board and support us! The Housing Coordination consists of a 6-person interdisciplinary team led by the State Council and Housing Coordinator of the City Development and Housing Authority. We support the implementation of the housing policy of the Senate and work with district offices, specialist authorities and the housing industry together with the aim of mobilising housing potentials and securing housing numbers. We are a point of contact for authorities, investigators and civil servants who are confronted with conflicts and obstacles in their housing projects. In a cooperative and communicative process, we are looking for solutions and compromises between the parties in order to advance development and approval processes as well as planning processes and to support individual construction projects. You take over the preparation and follow-up of the housing coordination round, which takes place six times a year under the chairmanship of the housing design coordinator, support the team in preparing the regular Senate Commission for Urban Development and Housing, collect the monthly building permit numbers in housing and assist in the evaluation and processing of the data, regularly collect the current status of important housing projects at district offices and competent authorities.

Required a higher education degree (Bachelor or equivalent) in the field of administrative, economic or political sciences, legal sciences or in a comparable field; and Immatrikulation at a university (master or equivalent) in one of the above-mentioned fields of study Advantages high readiness to learn and a structured, reliable and independent way of working with a pronounced own initiative strong team and communication skills at least German knowledge of C1 level in word and writing good knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel Experience in general office activities
