Senior Test Manager in Test Automation & Software Quality Assurance (m/f/d)

Operational test management & further development: You are responsible for the operational test management of the ULAK and continuously develop this. This ensures a structured, efficient and quality-secured test performance across all test stages. Test planning & control: You plan and control the test activities for our products – from the creation of suitable test concepts to the execution of tests to the transparent follow-up of all relevant results. Process and tool design: You work hands-on with frameworks such as Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit or comparable tools and integrate tests in CI/CD pipelines. You design optimal workflows for testing and develop existing test processes as well as used test tools. This ensures smooth integration into the different test days and promotes standardized processes. Optimization & quality assurance: You work closely with developers and promote testability, clean code and TDD approaches. Your focus is on structural quality risks and you are deriving concrete improvements. Test automation: you validate, plan and implement measures to increase test case automation in the various test stages. You design and implement automated tests and continuously increase the degree of automation – especially in the backend and API environment. Documentation & Communication: You document test results comprehensible and address-oriented, produce test reports and release recommendations and communicate them clearly and legally to all stakeholders.

Complete study of computer science, natural sciences or a comparable degree course and multi-year (5+) years of professional experience in software quality assurance and test automation (backend/frontend) Certification Ideally ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced Level) Knowledge of Java development, ideally with Spring / Spring Boot and Angular, good know-how in, script languages (e.g. Python, JS) Experience in application management with CI/CD environments (e.g. Git, Jenkins, etc.) Safe application of moderation techniques and agile project management methods, tools such as jira, confluence and different test approaches and strategies (risk-based, explorative, regression, end-to-end etc.) An entrepreneurial thinking, solution-oriented and resilient personality with agile/digital mindset and good dialogue and conflict management that securely communicates and advances things Good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least B2 level)
