Project Manager Production (m/f/d)

Your post in our crew You are responsible for the quality, cost and timely implementation of a large marine project at the Hamburg site for Blohm+Voss. In your role, you report directly to the managing director and work closely with the manufacturing departments and the overall project. As part of the project implementation, you will be responsible for and report on the progress of construction, budget and challenges of the project and implement structures for successful project execution taking into account existing processes at Blohm+Voss and within the NVL. You provide professionally the staff of the various departments to be involved in the project and ensure the timely completion of the ships in the budget and the required quality at the site. You form the interface between the overall project and Blohm+Voss and agree closely with the leading shipyards: In this case, you can answer in particular the smooth transfer from the leading shipyards to the Blohm+Voss site. You know and represent our contractual interests to the NVL (total project), the contracting entity (öAG), all subcontractors and the relevant classification society. You agree with the overall project management. You work cooperatively with the other subprojects in the overall project, as well as the Blohm+Voss departments and actively support colleagues in the claim and/or Change management. You organize and conduct important meetings - in German and English – internally, as well as with external partners. These include, for example, internal regular meetings with the management and the manufacturing departments. You implement and develop regular project reporting in close coordination with controlling and manufacturing engineering at the site and are responsible for this. The change in performance for Blohm+Voss such as bsw. Performance shifts from other locations are also responsible. This includes the organisation, compilation of additional costs (calculation), as well as review of future effects.

Complete study of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or marine engineering or comparable training with sufficient professional experience in a shipyard in a manufacturing department Technical understanding of the overall ship/boat system in the main platform system as well as for the overall manufacturing process including Testing and commissioning Commercial understanding and experience in the interpretation of contracts Very good communication properties and enforcement capability Very good English skills in word and writing Trusts in handling MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Project and Outlook) Trusts in handling ERP systems (preferably PS system)
