Application Supervisor Network Functions in the Control System (m/w/d)

At the location of Pulheim-Brauweiler near Cologne, the transmission network is monitored and controlled by the system control system. In order to ensure a reliable and economical operation of the transmission network, network control systems are used which are supervised by experienced professionals. Amprion develops and builds a new network control system for the main switching line, which will contain many innovative functions for the implementation of the energy transition. To strengthen our team, we are looking for you when you are interested in participating in the introduction of modern software technologies, as well as the management of challenging tasks in the context of current changes in the energy industry.

Application support of network functions in the control system Conception and support of the implementation of innovative functions for network rebuilding up to commissioning of software modules Cooperation in internal and cross-company projects for the further development of processes and applications of system management Coordination of cooperation with external service providers and specialist users in the context of agile software development Performance of maintenance work and optimizations, identification, analysis and troubleshooting Maintenance of administration and user documentation and user support in the use of software solutions

IHR PROFIL:

successfully completed (special)high school studies in electrical engineering, energy engineering, computer science or industrial engineering willingness to work on technical issues of system management and network operation Experience in project management and the support of complex technical systems, ideally in the field of control systems first experience in dealing with Linux operating systems, Ansible and GIT as well as Jira and Confluence CIM and CGMES as well as agile software development are desirable Teamability, communication strength and self-responsibility good knowledge in German and English
