Data centers form the backbone of the digital world, while their energy and resource needs are continuously increasing. Sustainability, environmental protection and business continuity (BC) are increasingly gaining strategic importance and developing into key future topics. We operate an established environmental management system according to EMAS as well as a company-wide Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), which are constantly being developed.

Further development and operational support of the environmental management system (EMAS) and the business continuity management system (BCM) Regular effectiveness controls of management systems including deriving corrective measures and ensuring legal compliance Identification of weaknesses and development of improvement proposals for management Planning, implementation and monitoring of measures to achieve sustainability and BCM objectives Promoting company-wide awareness of energy efficiency, environmental and climate protection and business continuity in cooperation with management and governance Planning and implementation of business continuity exercises and simulations to verify the effectiveness of crisis and emergency plans Preparation, coordination and monitoring of internal and external audits and ensuring legal reporting obligations (e.g. EnEfG, EMAS Regulation) Internal and external communication on environmental and BCM issues, preparation of the sustainability report and cooperation in governance projects and policy development

Complete studies or training in business, environmental, energy or sustainability management or comparable qualification in risk or safety management desirable Passion for environmental protection, sustainability and resilient corporate structures and the ability to inspire others for these important topics Experience with EMAS or other management systems (e.g. ISO 27001) Experience in BCM (e.g. ISO 22301, BSI 200-4) Basic understanding of relevant sustainability regulations and certifications Knowledge in project management and practical application of appropriate methods Embossed analytical capacity, structured work and high quality awareness Communication strength, openness and enforcement
