Number: MER0003VOK Increasingly volatile energy markets, changing regulatory requirements and achieving our demanding energy targets require the continuous development of energy strategy and energy management as well as the continuous increase in energy efficiency at all Mercedes-Benz Cars locations. The Green Production & Resource Management department is a center-of-competence strategic and operational across the site. The core tasks of the department include ensuring a sustainable, cost-optimized energy supply and energy production, a secure and sustainable energy and media supply for production, as well as ensuring the achievement of our energy saving goals by optimizing energy efficiency and constantly developing the energy management system. We are happy to offer a job for an internship in our team with a duration of 6 months. Your tasks in the team 'Energy Management RD'' at the Sindelfingen site include: Participation in creating documents for top management

Implementation of the requirements for the energy management system

Coordination and control of energy optimization activities

Planning and implementation of workshops on energy optimization

Participation in the further development of our energy communication strategy

Cooperation in the planning and implementation of training concepts and training as well as in the identification and optimization of large consumers and in the assessment of energy efficiency measures

Development and production of energy indicators for consumption analysis

Creation and development of energy bills with external and internal customers

Participation in official messages such as energy tax, EEG output and other

Working with the implementation of the new energy data system

The internship can start from July 2026, but it is also possible to start from September 2026 (2 internships are available)

Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Economic Engineer, Energy Management/Energy Management or a comparable degree course

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Knowledge in SQL, databases and AI tools are advantageous

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working

General energy understanding is advantageous
