Number: MER0003UIS The Procurement and Supplier Quality Mercedes-Benz Cars and Vans (MP) department in Sindelfingen carries out the global purchasing and quality activities for the cars and vans of the Mercedes-Benz brands. MP stands for strategic design and operational implementation of global procurement activities and material group strategies, with the aim of optimizing the entire value chain and unlocking cost-cutting potentials.

The series management coordinates all activities on the purchase and quality side to ensure market launches of future vehicle models. These include regular coordination with the strategic project management as well as the cross-functional areas of development, quality, sales, logistics, controlling and cost planning. In addition, the series management is responsible for the coordination of localisation volumes for production plants on four continents.

These challenges include: Support in strategic new product projects

Participation in the cross-departmental coordination of activities between development, quality, production, suppliers and aftersales

Processing of independent work packages within the series management

Data preparation for the project management for the control of new products and changes in the current series

Supporting the team in day-to-day business, e.g. in the creation of decision templates, further development of processes, etc.

The activity can start from 02.02.2026.

Course in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable degree course

Very good PC/EDV identifiers in all application programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

German and English skills

Designed and independent working

Reliability and self-safe appearance

High commitment, commitment and team capability

Basic knowledge in the fields of purchasing and materials management are advantageous
