As part of our expansion, we are looking for a dedicated personality that shapes and develops our company-wide sustainability strategy. You take responsibility for key sustainability issues along our supply chain and within our organization – both in close cooperation with our international partners and with regard to specific requirements of European food retailers.

Supply chain management: Further development of our supplier management along international supply chains focusing on human rights, social standards and environmental and climate issues Implementation and documentation of risk analyses, supplier assessments and the derivation of improvement measures in personal coordination with suppliers Support of producers and suppliers in implementing customer requirements and international guiding principles Climate objectives & decarbonization: Responsibility for the company-wide climate strategy, including greenhouse gas accounting (Scope 1, 2 and 3), as well as deriving concrete measures to achieve defined climate targets and support for implementation Monitoring regulatory developments and sustainability trends and deriving practical recommendations for action for the company ESG Reporting: Creation, coordination and further development of the annual sustainability report according to the VSME standard and other relevant ESG reporting requirements Data management: collection, analysis, processing and quality of ESG metrics as well as further development of loadable ESG data structures and KPI dashboards along the entire supply chain Working with the introduction and further development of digital ESG tools and platforms Risk assessment, process optimization & compliance: Analysis of relevant ESG indicators and identification of potential improvements Identification and assessment of ESG-related risks and derivation of appropriate countermeasures Further development of sustainable processes in cooperation with the departments Ensuring compliance with relevant legal, regulatory and customer-specific requirements Monitoring regulatory developments and deriving practical recommendations Company reviews & audits: Accompanying sustainability audits, company reviews and customer requests After preparing audit results, deriving corrective measures and tracking the implementation

Complete studies in sustainability management, environmental sciences, economics with sustainability focus or comparable qualification 3-5 years of professional experience in sustainability, ESG, CSR or compliance Experience in sustainability reporting and management of sustainability-related requirements along international supply chains Experience with international agricultural supply chains is desirable Knowledge of relevant social and sustainability standards such as GLOBALG.A.P., GRASP, SMETA, Sedex, Rainforest Alliance or Fairtrade are beneficial Designed analytical skills, a structured and self-responsive way of working, and a high degree of organisational and communication strength Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing as well as willingness to occasional international business trips
