IT Procurement & Licensing Manager (m/f/d)

The IT procurement team ensures secure and efficient deployment of hardware, network devices and software licenses. It selects suppliers, conducts contract negotiations and monitors compliance with all agreed conditions. In license management, the team ensures that software is used legally, sufficient licenses are available and costs are optimized. Your future tasks: You support the collection, comparison and, if necessary, the reworking of offers and actively work with IT projects or subprojects As the first respondent, you are in close contact with finance and IT managers, regularly inform about budget status and possible adjustments and also actively support the planning and monitoring of investment and cost budgets You develop decision-making proposals to acquire hardware and software as well as IT services The management and control of the license inventory as well as the development of optimization proposals are also part of your tasks

You bring a study of computer science, business informatics, business management or a comparable qualification with 3-5 years of professional experience in procurement and/or license management as well as in IT controlling you could already collect Further trainings such as license managers (incl. ISO 19770-1), license law or IT controlling are of advantage – alternatively, there is a willingness to acquire them The independent negotiation of contracts as well as your good communication skills are one of your strengths as well as a pronounced sense of business relations Ideally, you already have first experience in service provider control Analytical thinking skills and a basic technical understanding complete your profile
