Your tasks:

Your responsibilities

• Development of software components for autonomous and automated systems in C++
• Creation of specifications, architectures, test procedures and communication interfaces
• Development of components within an agile team
• Observing current trends in AI, machine learning and autonomy as well as introducing new ideas
• Participation in national and international research projects in the field of maritime autonomy
• Integration and testing of the software on marine test vehicles

Your qualifications:

Your profile

• Complete studies in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or comparable qualification
• Very good knowledge of C++ as well as experience with software design, testing, CMake and CI/CD processes (ideally with GitLab)
• Knowledge in Qt about GUI development is advantageous
• Interest or experience in autonomous systems, navigation, obstacle avoidance or related AUV technologies
• Safe handling of clean code and modern development principles
• Team-oriented operation and strong communication skills
• readiness to occasionally travel in Germany and abroad
• Flowing German knowledge required
• Very good English skills
