Consultant Information Security / ISMS (m/f/d)

Making information security effective at the NRW University Network HITS.nrw is a central IT service provider for public universities in North Rhine-Westphalia. We develop modern, safe and efficient IT structures – so that research, teaching and administration work reliably and sensitive data are protected. In this role, you will accompany the universities and centers of focus in NRW on operational issues of information security. The focus will be on the introduction and use of the GRC tool with a focus on ISMS, the preparation of audits and testing as well as cooperation with national services. The service centre is funded by the DH.NRW (Digital University of Applied Sciences NRW) and the MKW (Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia) and is linked to HITS organizationally. Consultation and support of high schools in the introduction and use of the GRC tool with a focus on ISMS. Technical advice for preparing audits and testing. Provision of templates, templates, guidelines, guidelines, hand-applications and other templates for ISMS. Interface work with centers of focus, HITS.nrw and national services. Cooperation in working groups and, where appropriate, Head of own temporary working groups. Participation in requirements/service catalogues for framework contracts and necessary procurement documents.

Complete university studies, e.g. in computer science, business informatics, IT security or a comparable qualification. Including experience in information security / IT security. Knowledge of ISMS, BSI-Standard 200-1 to 200-3 and operational information security processes. Experience in the field of higher education, bodywork and communication with universities, ministries, national authorities and IT service providers. Ability to assist universities in the introduction and use of the GRC tool and to work on interfaces bindingly. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
