Your area: Project group Cloud Computing and Digital Sovereignty The Cloud Competence Center at IT.NRW takes care of the strategic orientation of IT.NRW as a cloud service provider for public administration. Our tasks include building and developing a powerful multi-cloud environment as well as integrating solutions into the overall architecture of IT.NRW. As a cloud competence center, we play an important role as an interface to domestic and federal bodies, partners and customers.

Your main activity: You develop cloud target architectures with a focus on public administration requirements. In particular, note security requirements to protect data and procedures in the cloud. You plan multi-cloud architectures and take into account security solutions, cost and risk considerations. You create and optimize operating concepts for projects in the context of the digitization of the regional administration and take over their planning and implementation. You run IT projects or IT subprojects to standardize IT solutions or on architecture development. Your task also includes: You support and advise development teams in designing development and test environments in the cloud.

You bring with them: Graduate degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics or in a degree course with IT reference As an alternative to studies: Completion as an operating professional or many years of relevant professional experience in IT At least 3 years of practical experience in at least one of the following areas: use of public clouds (including European, sovereign cloud providers, but also hyperscalers) Operation of data centers or networks (including technical expertise) Secure German (in Word and Writing)

For the function in the EG13 TV-L you will also bring practical experience in one of the following areas: Cooperation with the federal government, countries and municipalities on topics such as normative requirements and safety requirements Implementation and/or monitoring of audits in the field of compliance and quality assurance Also desirable are: Experience in the application of methods and tools of (enterprise) architecture management and architecture modelling, e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate, UML etc. Experience in managing (partial) projects and/or work packages Your personality: Team spirit, open to dealing with changes Good in understanding relationships Structured operation
