The ASB-Wunderchildren stand for strong relationships, lived diversity and paediatric quality. As a free and modern institution of ten children's day-care centres and a variety of offers for the ambu­nant and stationary youth assistance as well as for the integration aid, we regularly accompany more than 1,000 children, young people and families with heart and understanding. More than 150 collaborators are working day-to-day with specialist skills, attitude and joy in the indi­vidual support of young people. At the heart of this is always the individual child – with his curiosity, personality and his very intimate way of discovering the world. In Lauf a. d. Pegnitz, we are looking for a pedagogical management personality, which professionally continues to think about youth assistance and also gives orientation in complex situations. Educational Head of Youth Assistance (Human) with focus on trauma and intensive education in parttime or full-time (30–39 hours) Our work is more than classical stationary youth assistance. We support young people with complex biographical burdens and high educational needs. For this we need a clear, reflected and resilient pedagogical attitude – and a lead that carries this attitude into everyday life.

As a pedagogical lead, you are responsible for the technical support for the pedagogical orientation and further development of our youth assistance programmes. You guide teams and executives, accompany complex procedures of assistance and ensure the implementation of our technical and conceptual standards. A special focus is on trauma and intensive education. Together with the teams, you will develop a pedagogy that remains operational even in challenging processes and offers young people safety, relationship and development opportunities. Your areas of responsibility: Technical and pedagogical management Professional leadership and support of group and team management Ensuring uniform educational orientation Technical and management consultancy and support in complex case processes Monitoring of crisis and hazard situations Responsibility for the Protection Order pursuant to § 8a SGB VIII Technical support of recording processes Trauma and intensive education Development of a consistent trauma pedagogical attitude Professional support of teams in dealing with young people who are particularly challenged Development of safety in highly dynamic situations Reflection of relationship, crisis and escalation dynamics Development of intensive pedagogical concepts and offers Quality, concept and cooperation Further development of pedagogical and conceptual foundations Ensuring professional quality standards Initiation and support of new technical projects Cooperation with youth offices, home supervision, cooperation partners and external departments Development and strengthening of management and teams Close cooperation with management, HR and internal cutting points

We are not looking for a classical administration or departmental management, but rather for a pedagogical manager who has a professional influence and further development on our youth assistance. You can significantly shape the trauma and intensive pedagogical orientation, develop pedagogical standards, strengthen teams and develop intensive pedagogical offers. In short, we are looking for a lead that not only manages structures, but develops pedagogy, conveys attitude and advances professionally in difficult situations. Requirements: Completed study of pedagogy, social work or a comparable subject Multiannual experience in child and youth assistance, ideally stationary Multiannual leadership experience Knowledge and practical experience in trauma/intensity pedagogy or trauma pedagogical/therapeutic approaches Experience with complex cases and crisis situations Ideally a therapeutic or trauma pedagogical additional qualification As a manager: You combine technical clarity with an appreciation attitude. You also give orientation and security in difficult situations. You are reflected, decision-making and conflict-proof. You like to develop management and teams professionally. You work structured, reliable and responsible.
