Development of foams and adhesive tapes

Together with the development, You define the customer requirements on technical plates and the associated adhesive tapes and translate them into proprietary specifications. You develop, together with our suppliers, the required technical sealing plates and associated adhesive tapes. You are actively involved in the material composition in order to meet the customer's wishes. You are the central technical partner (m/w/d) for international material manufacturers and traders, conduct expert discussions at eye level and evaluate new material trends and technical data sheets. You plan, coordinate and carry out comprehensive series of tests and tests on the quality of materials (e.g. adhesion, ageing and climate tests) in order to demonstrate the suitability of the composite material without any gap. You accompany the successful conversion of qualified materials into series production, define the optimal process parameters for further processing and create the necessary specifications. You monitor the initial series, eliminate technical problems in the case of adhesion or processing problems and continuously optimize the inter­nal production processes. You define and monitor test procedures for the composite material (e.g. adhesion tests, ageing behaviour) and solve technical problems. You advise internal customers such as sales, product management and production on material technology issues and support the implementation of new customer projects.

You have a successfully completed study with a high point of material development / chemistry or a comparable qualification. You have several years of experience in material development, desired value in the field of technological sealing materials (EPDM/silicon) and industrial adhesives/gluing tapes as well as their interactions in the composite. You have a well-founded technical understanding of the combination of technical foam and sealing materials and are able to develop them jointly with our readers. You are characterized by a firm and analytical thinking, create DOEs, perform these consequently and relate the project up to series transmission. You will be thrilled by your high self-initiative, decision-making and your design challenge. You are prepared to visit and qualify national and international experts. You speak very well German and English for communication with international producers.
