IT Dispatcher and Service Control (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. IT-Dispatcher und Servicemanagement (m/w/d) now and in full time in Kiel. The Service Center Kiel ensures decentralized service provision at over 90 locations and a permanent representation of BWI GmbH on site in the properties of the Bundeswehr. In addition, the Service Center Kiel processes defined task packages within the framework of projects and provides on-site service at the BWI internal IT.

Acceptance, qualitative testing and disposition of incoming interference messages in the ticket bar

Efficient time and economic disposition of orders and monitoring of service levels and escalation processes

Tool-based control and support of service technicians for order processing

Communication with customers, foreign companies, internal interfaces and technical field service

Work-preparing measures, e.g. determination of materials requirements, testing of technical requirements (e.g. LAN availability, resource planning)

Support logistical processes and use of material pools to ensure material supply

Closed vocational training in the IT sector and about three years of professional experience in the IT field

Embossed IT affinity and sound knowledge of ticket systems, IT processes and MS Office

Remarkable: knowledge in the field of IT management networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN), certifications and experience with quality management

Ideal experience with the peculiarities of the customer Bundeswehr

knowledge of German language; English knowledge of advantage

driving licence class B
