SRE Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer: Infrastructure Transformation (m/f/d)

Development and implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions (e.g. Terraform, Ansible). Automation of recurring tasks such as deployments, scaling and troubleshooting. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast and secure software delivery.

Transformation of classic Linux systems in Kubernetes: Migration of classic Linux servers to Kubernetes environments Supporting the software development teams when using Kubernetes for their workloads Automation of network components in the On Premise Datacenter

Secure management of Secrets: Development and introduction of a Secret Management System (e.g. Hashicorp Vault) Connection of critical components of IT infrastructure Easy but safe access for applications and people to access data

Error management & self-healing systems: Implementation of automated recovery mechanisms to minimize system failures Development of proactive monitoring solutions for early problem identification. Use of Event Driven Automation (e.g. Lambda functions, Webhooks) for autonomous response to anomalies.

Optimization of infrastructure: Automated scaling of cloud and on-premise systems based on load forecasts. Ensure compliance with security policies through compliance as code. Resource optimization by automated capacity planning.

Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Development of runbooks and playbooks for automated incident management. Use of AIOps to analyze logs and metrics for error early detection. Working with developers and operations teams to quickly troubleshooting by automation.

Very good German knowledge of at least C1 level in word and writing At least 5 years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Software Development with Focus Automation & Configuration Management This role requires a presence on two days a week in our Hamburg office for team meetings. We support flexible working models while ensuring effective team cooperation. Funded knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management (e.g. Terraform, Ansible). Safe handling of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD). Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana). Knowledge of container technologies & orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Good programming and scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash). Problem-solving-oriented operation and team capacity.
