You are interested in the development of a modern and interdisciplinary teaching in computer science, focusing your own priorities in the field of databases and information systems. Together with our Dual Partners, you will be thrilled to supervise scientific work by students in the field of research and development as well as to gain and advise teachers. You are also interested in the perspective takeover of tasks in the organization of the course of study and its laboratories as well as in the academic administration.

We are looking for a team-capable and communicative personality with relevant professional experience and expertise in the basics of computer science as well as in the field of databases and information systems. You provide sound knowledge in the fields of data modeling and database management systems. You are familiar with the common OLTP and OLAP systems, their architectures and implementation concepts. You ideally know the current developments in these areas and you can arrange and evaluate them. In addition to experience in teaching and research, you have strategic, advisory and operational skills to actively contribute to the further development of the course.

According to § 47 LHG, a completed university degree, special scientific competence (usually doctorate), pedagogical suitability as well as at least five years of professional practical experience, of which at least three years are outside the university sector.
