SCADA Engineer (m/f/d)

Together with your team, you take over the operation and change and release management of a highly available network control system for monitoring and controlling the power grid infrastructure (SCADA). With our internal system management engineering teams and external software suppliers, you project system extensions and migrations on virtualized Linux systems. In addition, you monitor an overall system within our critical infrastructure and guarantee the quality of the services provided with your colleagues. At the application level, you are involved in the development of requirements, technical concepts and their implementation and audits. Last but not least, as part of the 2nd level support team, you take over a planned multi-day readiness several times a year and are on-site in less than one hour if necessary – of course, this will be additionally remunerated.

You bring a completed study in electrical engineering or computer science or comparable training. Ideally, you have professional experience in the administration and operation of Linux-based applications as well as in IT project management and in the control of external service providers. With a sense of responsibility and great interest in critical processes and systems, you are particularly convinced. In the team work, you are characterized by a motivated, structured, independent and analytical work. You also have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
