(Junior) Software Tester (m/f/d)

You become part of the topsystem GmbH and thus part of the EPG. As a (Junior) software tester in the Logistics Solutions division, you contribute to the digital and smart logistics of tomorrow! Specifically, your test cases and your view ensure that our customers receive new software products in high quality. THE ASSESSMENTS - This will make you do something You manually test new features in our software, both isolated and in the overall context of the application. You will find errors in our software and document them in an issue tracker additionally write new test instructions and supplement existing ones. You perform static and dynamic test instructions and inform about the current state of the software quality. You support the local reproduction and systematic troubleshooting of maintenance cases. You develop, maintain and optimize automated software tests at GUI and protocol levels and ensure their functional quality. You improve the test infrastructure at Windows and Linux levels and implement customized scripting solutions in the relevant languages. You communicate and document relevant information in their own team as well as development, project management and support.

You have a degree in computer science, professional training or a comparable qualification. You have extensive knowledge and experience in quality assurance of complex software systems. You have at least basic knowledge in one or more of the following topics: test case management, testing Java applications, web applications, interfaces and/or databases. You are familiar with test automation – in particular with tools such as Playwright, Gatling and Ranorex as well as test management solutions such as Testrail, Atlassian Jira or comparable systems. You can structure, create and maintain documentation independently. Your profile is rounded off by good knowledge of German and English.
