We stand for a safe and performant operation of the infrastructure, the fulfillment of the relevant legal standards, the feasibility of costs, for economic efficiency and IT consulting. As a team of database experts, we form a central part of our IT architecture. We support the databases on various platforms for a variety of applications of our customers. Among other things, we play an important role in enabling the smooth processing of pension and rehabilitation processes.

As a senior Microsoft SQL Server expert, you take a key role in the operation and further development of our database platform. Here you will take over the following tasks: Operation and development of a large Microsoft SQL Server landscape (2019+) Ensuring high availability, performance and stability Design and implementation of automation (for example with Ansible, PowerShell) Control and optimization of deployment and operating processes Definition of standards for installation, operation and maintenance Cooperation and management of IT projects in the database environment Consulting internal stakeholders on architecture, performance and security issues Construction and development of test and laboratory environments

You have either a completed university education (Bachelor/Diplom/FH) in the STEM area or a completion of a comparable IT qualification or a completion of a vocational training in the IT sector with a multi-year practical experience, or long-term comparable practical experience in the IT sector Expert knowledge and multi-year practical experience as a database administrator in the Microsoft SQL Server environment (2019+) Very good knowledge of T-SQL, Power Shell and the operating system Windows Server Experience with high availability solutions You work structured, solution-oriented and enjoy strategic, conceptual work An excellent communication (Deutsch at least B2-Niveau) as well as a pronounced readiness for responsibility and self-initiative You ideally bring practical knowledge in automation with PowerShell or Ansible Experience with large system landscapes or critical infrastructure is desirable Knowledge in Active Directory, Monitoring, Performance Tuning or Security are beneficial, but no need
