Senior Software Engineer Backend & Data Platforms (m/f/d)

You develop modern backend applications and database solutions. You design high-performance database access and work daily with SQL. You actively shape the modernization of our Oracle-based applications to modern backend and data platforms. You develop REST interfaces and scalable backend services. You bring your ideas into architectural decisions and technical concepts. You work closely with experienced developers in an agile Scrum team. You carry out code reviews together with the team for high software quality. You are evaluating new technologies and contributing to continuously developing our development platform.

Multiannual experience in backend or software development Very good SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases Ideally experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL or comparable database systems Experiences with one or more modern programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Kotlin or comparable) are advantageous Knowledge of modern backend technologies, REST interfaces and build and CI/CD tools are desirable A good feeling for software architecture, performance and clean code Self-responsible work, analytical thinking and joy in solving technical problems Team spirit, communication strength and willingness to share knowledge
