Technical Project Manager (m/f/d)

In this position, you take responsibility for the comprehensive supervision of external work in the field of injection moulding tools and actively contribute to ensuring quality, appointments and cost-effectiveness. Your tasks include: Holistic project support of all externally assigned works in the field of injection moulding tools Takeover of the complete project management for selected tool projects Creation of feasibility analyses and production processing based on customer requirements Analysis and evaluation of tool concepts and designs up to design release elaboration and coordination of requests to external moulders with regard to optimizations, changes and repairs Implementation of the configuration management for injection moulds according to DIN EN 9100 Analysis and evaluation of repair and optimization measures of defective tools including de- and assembly Cause analysis of tool faults during injection molding simple repair and adaptation work on tools Planning, execution and documentation of goods intake tests for externally repaired, modified, optimized or newly manufactured injection moulds according to DIN EN 9100 Monitoring and technical evaluation of tools during the sampling up to the release, including for external tooling and injection molding operations Production of maintenance and testing instructions for injection moulds Processing of complaints in close cooperation with quality assurance Monitoring the timely implementation of all externally assigned works In addition, ensure transparent communication and regularly inform all relevant interfaces about: Current supply related topics such as delivery delays, release status or critical issues Quality deviations and problems Critical components and manufacturing and process problems Tool design in the area of injection molding Further relevant project and tool related information

Qualification Completed technical training (e.g. tool mechanic, mould builder) ideally with further training to the technician/master or completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, plastics technology or comparable Multiannual professional experience in tool construction, ideally with focus on injection moulds and external tool projects Knowledge of the analysis, design and optimization of injection moulding tools Experience in project management or Project support of technical projects, preferably with external suppliers Safe handling of technical drawings, tool concepts and production documents Knowledge of configuration management and quality-relevant processes, ideally according to DIN EN 9100 Experience in receipt checks, sampling and technical releases of tools Basic knowledge of performing repair, adaptation and optimization work on injection moulds of advantage Methodological and organizational skills Structured, solution-oriented and independent operation High quality and cost awareness as well as strong appointment and process understanding Ability to analyze technical issues in a sound manner and to develop policy templates Experience in cooperation with external mould builders and injection moulding companies Safe handling of MS Office and ideally with ERP or documentation systems Personal characteristics Embossed communication and team capability to coordinate with internal interfaces such as QS, purchasing, manufacturing and external partners Responsibility and enforcement ability at the same time Analytical thinking and high technical understanding Willingness to take responsibility for projects and results Readiness to travel to external suppliers as required
