Legal Engineer (m/f/d)

You shape the digital future of attorney work in the area of damage by developing innovative AI tools together with a developer team that help our lawyers process legal cases You translate legal tasks and processes into digital solutions by systematically analyzing and structuring them and transforming the technical requirements of damage processing into technical specifications You model the processes in the legal damage processing in the form of workflows, data models or business rules and specify them so that You can be implemented through new software or the configuration of existing systems. In close cooperation with our international lawyers, you identify standardization potentials and develop solutions for automation and efficiency enhancement You work in an international environment and support the global orientation of our ACE programme, which aims to develop pioneering AI solutions for legal counselling in the area of damage

You have a degree in law or a deep understanding of legal processes You bring professional experience as a lawyer, a law firm or a legal tech company You bring a high affinity to technology and AI; you already have experience with Legal Design, BPMN modelling in legal context or other project experience in legal innovation, e.g. as part of a hackathon, Summer School or other Legal Tech Events & Challenges You think process and enjoy analyzing, structuring and optimizing complex processes first experiences with legal technology, programming or an understanding of the logic of software development processes are a plus Your communication strength distinguishes you and you understand yourself as a translator between legal employees, project management and developers You work independently, you are team-oriented and you want to actively shape the digital transformation of lawyer work in the area of damage Negotiating German and English skills are required for international cooperation, other languages (e.g. Spanish, Dutch) are advantageous
