Your role As part of the global strategic purchasing team, you will support the growth of the Industrial Quality Solutions division and advance mechanical engineering innovations

As a work package manager for development and solutions projects, you are responsible for all strategic shopping activities, from kick-off to industrialization, working closely with the project team

You negotiate contracts with cooperation partners, conduct global tenders, qualify new suppliers and agree closely with the Lead Buyer of the respective Commodity in the strategic purchasing team

You actively evaluate risks and keep an eye on the whole to establish a sustainable supplier base beyond the product development phase

You contribute to the standardization and improvement of processes, especially in the purchase of projects, and thus to the further professionalisation of the strategic purchasing function

A completed university degree in Business Administration, Economic Engineering, a comparable degree of education

Multiannual professional experience, of which at least 3 years in the technical purchasing of an international industrial company, like from the automation environment or mechanical engineering

Experience in purchasing technical components in the development and project environment

A structured way of working and a high degree of responsibility

Team orientation and binding occurrence towards development team and other internal and external stakeholders

Good knowledge of English and SAP
