Software Project Manager - Simulation & Analysis (m/f/d)

The Defence & Security division is particularly committed to the armed forces and a recognised technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the monitoring of analysis, development and implementation projects and the provision of services.

Head of sophisticated software development projects in the safety-relevant environment, including in the areas of simulation of defence systems and simulation-based operational analysis, after extensive incorporation Control of the technical implementation of simulation systems including Scenario design, numerical modeling, 3D visualization and analysis functions Responsibility for the planning, coordination and contractual, technical implementation of customer requirements within the framework of software development projects Professional leadership of interdisciplinary teams (development, testing, architecture) and coordination of external partners Close cooperation with contracting authorities (e.g. BAAINBw) on the coordination of technical requirements and demonstration of analytical skills Application of modern system and software development methods (e.g. Kanban, Scrum) as part of project management and further development of existing processes Active cooperation in supply creation, concept development and Lessons Learned processes

Completion of a successful study of computer science, engineering or comparable Practical experience in implementing and ideally managing software projects Knowledge, ideally safe handling of classic and agile project management methods (e.g. Scrum, V-Modell XT) Technical understanding in areas such as: programming languages (Java, C++), scenario design / use case definition, simulation-based assessment Embossed communication strength, structured working style and pleasure in technical coordination German and English skills
