After incorporation, you will advise the radiation protection officers with regard to the determination of protective measures and the necessary personal dosimetry, the removal of persons and the delivery of movable objects, the handling of clearance procedures and the execution of leak tests on enclosed radioactive substances in accordance with the corresponding §§ of the StrlSchV. Furthermore, you are responsible for the organisation and implementation of the recurring tests on radiation protection measuring devices as well as of clearance procedures for the release SSB of KIT. The input and output of personal radiation protection data, the plausibility check of the data, the verification and correction of non-plausible data, the quality control and the legally effective correspondence with the persons concerned and the authorities also belong to your area of responsibility. You can also support the radiological monitoring of the site. You have completed training in the commercial sector and have ideally already knowledge of administrative and practical radiation protection or willingness to acquire them. As an alternative to this, you are a certified radiation protection specialist (IHK) and/or have completed vocational training in a technical profession (e.g. chemical or physics laboratory technicians/chemistry or physics laboratories (w/m/d), electronic engineer/electronist (w/m/d))) with experience in radiation protection and already have several years of professional experience in administration and administration. MS-Office knowledge, the willingness to handle radioactive substances or ionizing radiation as well as activities in control areas, the possession of the Class B licence and the German knowledge C2 level are assumed. IT affinity, English knowledge and knowledge in dosimetry, in radiation protection law, in particular § 25 StrlSchG environment, in practical radiation protection, in the conduct of authority correspondence and in the handling of WKP measuring devices are of advantage.
