The place is located in the Department of Academic and Student Affairs. For our department team we are looking for applicants who want to look for a varied and challenging activity in an agile team and actively shape changes. At our work, we attach great importance to close cooperation within the department and with the other units in administration and teaching. The field of legal and academic affairs includes the judiciary and the supervision of the high-school bodies.

They have the pleasure of managing tasks and perform expertly-competently with a good balance between task and employee orientation the subject area with its complex and versatile legal and gremi-related questions. In addition, you will advise and support the bodies, functionaries and executives of the university in all areas of university law. You will also be able to present complex legal matters in a targeted manner. You create and check university statutes and orders and you represent the university in possible court proceedings before the District Court and the Administrative Court. They continuously develop the area in close coordination with the department's strategy – with particular focus on the design and optimization of the processes and the use of digital possibilities. It encourages you to creatively solve strategic challenges taking into account legal frameworks. You will appreciate and take advantage of the design spaces available to you and actively contribute to the further development of the university and convince by your analytical and solution-oriented thinking.

You can demonstrate the second legal state exam and have a sound knowledge of public law. At best, you have already been able to gain first management experience. Ideally, you have knowledge of university law and professional experience in university administration or comparable institutions. They have a methodological procedure that allows you to work quickly and safely into new legal entities. A high degree of self-motivation, self-employment and care distinguishes you. Hamm or Lippstadt can be chosen as a place of service. In part, appointments can also be made at the other location. Regulations on home office are available at the university. The permanent full-time office shall be filled at the earliest possible date. The grouping takes place according to the task of transferring and fulfilling the personal requirements up to the remuneration group 13 according to the collective agreement for the public service of the countries (TV-L). Job placements are also possible on a part-time basis, provided that there are no individual reasons for service.
