Pedagogical Specialist for Assisted Individual Living (m/f/d)

For more than 50 years, we have been supporting and supporting adult people with mental disabilities in different forms of living, offerings of the daily structure and leisure activities. We have a wide range of expertise, have remained open and curious and allow people to appreciate and include accompaniment in the sense of participation. This is the core task for us - for that we are committed, also at political level. From a parent initiative in 1973, the association has developed an organizational culture in which an esteeming, collegial co-existence is lived at eye level and flat hierarchies. The focus is also on enabling employees to have a large scope for design in their everyday work.

In our BEW, 39 people live across the city, most of them living in the southwest of Berlin. The work in the BEW is a looking work, which usually takes place in 1:1 contact. The working hours are very individual depending on the needs of the client: in the evening, but mainly in the afternoon. The interesting thing about the work in the BEW is the individual orientation and the very self-organized work. The team at the BEW consists of young or young people who deal dynamically and reflect with each other. We are particularly happy to take joint trips and trips so that people can get in touch with each other and have years of friendship. From now on we are looking for a pedagogical specialist for the prey of individual dwellings. The number of jobs is 20 hours/where (including weekend and holiday services). Even less hours are possible. The place is indefinite.

You are actively involved in the design of content and organizational processes in the groups and together ensure individual support and participation in everyday life. These include: Support and guidance of the residents: in the case of everyday life management and basic care Support and support of residents:inside in recreational design, shopping and excursions Working out pedagogical methods Conducting all necessary documentation Creating information reports according to target and performance planning Cooperation with relatives, legal supervisors: women, workplaces if applicable. We are looking for nurses:inside, educators:inside or medical education:inside, we are also looking forward to applications from other areas such as health care:inside, occupational therapist:inside and elderly caregivers, who are also recognised as a specialist in integration.
