Your location The facility in Leipzig-Schönefeld was opened in September 2020: Up to 190 children, including 55 children in the crib area and 135 children in the kindergarten area (including 13 children with special needs) can be cared for. The roof terrace, which is about 500 square meters, offers a special perspective for children. The conceptual orientation is based on Maria Montessori's educational basic idea and reflection. The basic principles of the Montessori education are based on the following priorities, which are implemented in the everyday life of the daycare centre: external order, exercises of daily life, sensory material, language material. This will also be visible in the rooms, which will be simple but attractive and clearly structured. So the children can orient themselves, feel safe and unloaded. In the kindergarten area, the children are group-centered, i.e. their age are supervised in small groups with fixed reference pedagogues and fixed group space. With this we offer the children a framework with uniform, repetitive rituals that give safety and hold.
