Operational support: Infrastructural components jointly operate with our development teams and specialist departments. Application: Independently incorporated into new topics and techniques, implement them in the form of PoCs and transfer them to the working environment in a quality-assured manner You are responsible for planning, coordination and (further) development of system administration, in particular: operation of existing processes and infrastructures with accompanying development and implementation of ideas on improvements and changes in the operating landscape Collection, analysis and assessment of police and/or technical requirements Determination of the hardware and software architecture/infrastructure for components to be realized and integration into the technical and technical architecture of existing hardware/software solutions

You answer and develop concepts, in particular: creation and maintenance of instructions and documentation for users Creation and maintenance of security concepts, DSFA and operating concepts for server-based software Analysis and assessment of security risks and threats for server-based software

You support and advise users, in particular: selection, implementation and optimization of server-based software 2nd level support for users with problems and errors in server-based software

For the following reasons, the readiness for flexible working time design is assumed: In the course of internal events at the locations of the Federal Criminal Office about four times a year Length of service: 1 – 4 days

completed university studies (Diplom [FH] or Bachelor) of computer science or a comparable completed university study from the STEM field with IT orientation and a subsequent at least three years of professional experience or comparable skills and experience, but at least vocational training with IT equipment and, in addition, at least six years of professional experience in a corresponding profession

On top You have a well-founded understanding of (server) operating systems (Windows, Linux), software containerization (e.g. Docker) and corresponding orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes) as well as experience with automation tools such as GitlabCI, Ansible. You have deep experience in the administration of data banks. You have deeper knowledge of system design and architecture for cloud native systems, even in the high availability environment. You have knowledge of LowCode, such as Budibase. You have good English skills. You have very good oral and written expressions, have good cognitive and organizational skills, are resilient and independent and flexible in the task.
