As a specialist engineer for high-voltage direct current transmission technology (HGÜ) and cable systems, I take responsibility for the operational readiness in the control operation for the existing systems. In the design, tendering and award phase, I ensure that operational aspects are taken into account from the outset. In doing so, I formulate the technical requirements of management and effectively introduce my expertise and my experience. My commitment to working groups and bodies is very appreciated. My tasks I develop operational management concepts for HGÜ components and cable systems and develop methods for testing new plant parts, I am responsible for the implementation of commissioning and shaping the transition of the plants into the management of operations, with my gained experience helping me in regular operation, In trouble situations, I coordinate their initial clarification, I understand the influencing of the network connections according to the legal requirements – especially for maintenance-related downtimes, I prepare operational meetings with network connection customers and accompany them, I also monitor the contract processes for converter and cable systems, I carry out technical training and instruction, participate in the development of knowledge management and participate in coordination with customers, partners and authorities.
