Engineer / Welder – Forging Plant / Steel Production (m/w/d)

Tasks

• Ensuring the smooth operation of our electro-slag remelting plant (ESU plant)
• Conducting all preparatory work required for the remelting process, in particular electrode dust welding, monitoring the electrode preheating and preparation of the slag mixtures
• Provision of all materials and equipment required for the remelting process
• Monitoring the remelting process, in particular compliance with process data, ensuring the operability of auxiliary and auxiliary devices and eliminating interference
• Removal of the remelted block and transfer to the forging
• Required transport (by crane or forklift) and maintenance and maintenance work

Profile

• Completed technical training, if possible associated with professional experience in an industrial company
• Technical understanding of the handling of production plants
• Very good knowledge of MAG welding
• Permission for cutting and/or operating cranes and industrial trucks or the will to acquire these qualifications
• The willingness to work in the continuous layer system
• A responsible and reliable team player with own initiative who works very independently and carefully
